Maurice Blackburn has filed a class action against Uber on behalf of participants in the taxi, hire car, limousine and charter vehicle industry. This class action was introduced in response to losses suffered by drivers, licence owners, and operators, when Uber entered the Australian market.

Who is eligible?
Anyone who has an ABN and is registered for GST, plus operates a Taxi or Hire Car – Wedding Cars and Special Limos included (ANZSIC Class 4623 – Taxi and Other Road Transport); or provides transport support services – Taxi or Hire Car Drivers and Taxi radio base operations (ANZSIC Class 5299 – Other Transport Support Services).
What is ANZSIC?
When you registered your ABN for your business you had to nominate a classification for your business.
